: The bed was comfortable. The ac and heating worked well for late-September. Parking was adequate. Nice grounds.
: The Silverado room, on the 2nd floor of the Cain House, seemed to have been decorated for someone's spinster aunt circa 1900. It was showing it age; dirt behind the bathroom door, wallpaper beginning to peel. Colorless decor: White paint, white and pastel flora wallpaper, white wicker furnishings (even the mirror frame). No table for a laptop, and only one accessible outlet in the room. One chair, white wicker. The only concessions to the Twentieth Century were a tiny TV, a Keurig, a fridge, and maybe the two Subway sandwiches of indeterminate age I found in that fridge. Staying in the Cain house, and using its amenities (ice), requires two keys for two different doors (and that you re-lock them). The "living room" is downstairs, in what used to be a parlor. The Cain House seems like a diorama explaining 1900 living.

: The front desk staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and perfect for an overnight stay with our son and his dog Dozer. Beds are very comfortable. The grounds are clean and welcoming to guests and dogs with a big green space with tables and chairs. We would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was that the shower did not drain well. We advised when we checked out and I feel certain it will be taken care of.

: The room was clean and comfortable, the grounds were very nice and the owner was very friendly. Parking spot right in front of your room, and even though you are right next to the 395 you barely heard it.
: The water pressure wasn't very good, there was really nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom and the toilet is too close to the wall, the set up for the room was a bit awkward, and the television is TINY! More hanging hooks throughout the room or two bedside dressers would help.

: The heater in our room (#10) needs to be fixed or replaced. Not sure if other rooms have the same issue. It gets very hot very quickly and keeps going, no matter the temperature it is set on. We had to either keep the windows open all night (it got me sick, since the temp was 36F) or turn if off completely (the room was too cold in the morning, 65F). This is essential, especially during the cold time of the year.
