Disappointing

: The Room was a good size.
: I travelled with my family, there were 8 of us and a baby for a wedding nearby and we had 3 rooms. Dispite advertising they supplied baby cots and confriming before us booking over the phone they had no cots on arrival available for the baby. As there were a lot of us and didnt have time to move we had no choice but to stay and had to push a sofa against the wall for the bay which was not comfortable and he and his parents didnt get much sleep the 3 nights we were there. Also the diner and bar were closed on 2 of the days and had 2 go elsewhere for braekfast. Also on arrival our drawers were dirty and sticky. I went to recetion and tehy gave me wipes to clean them!!!

  : The room size

  : General settings in redwoods
: Our upper room balconies looked out to an ugly unused terrasse area. They could make it much more visually appealing.

: Grew up in Santa Cruz, but never stayed at Brookdale. It was nice to stay there after so many years. The food from the cafe was very good.
: 1. Balcony was covered in cobwebs. 2. The rate seemed very high considering the main attraction - the creek running through the restaurant - was closed and inaccessible.
