  : We didn't end up staying as we we're not happy with apartment. We couldn't lock the front door, stale cigarette smell and large sprinkler system pipes in one of the bedrooms. This was not disclosed at booking. Ended up booking somewhere else

  : This flat is managed by a completely irresponsive agency called Maverick Suites. During and after our stay, I sent them a number of messages and never received a single reply. We had many problems, starting from small (ceiling light not working - really annoying because the flat itself is very dark) to really important - there is no key, you are supposed to lock the door with a code but it does not work properly - we double checked if the door was locked when we were leaving and it turned out to be open when we came back! It seems that it unlocks automatically after some time (we experienced the same in the morning after locking the door for night). We were very lucky that nothing was lost but it could be really dangerous. Surprisingly, not a single picture shows a massive sprinkler system in the middle of one of the bedrooms. I cannot imagine letting children sleep there. Also, I am very unsatisfied with the deposit policy. Its amount is disproportionately high comparing to the price: they took a deposit of USD 300 and the flat price was USD 626. In comparison, I paid USD 1,300 in NYC and the deposit was USD 100. The confirmation email says that the deposit is returned within 72 hours after check out but in my case it was after 6 days! I got the payment back on the day I left the States so it is really annoying that they froze my money for the remaining days of my holiday.
