Lil Cabin by Big Bear Cool Cabins

  : The location of the cabin was on the opposite side of town. They did not advertise any breakfast as expected. They had wi-fi and the password was on their website. There was needed kitchen wear for the stay.
  : My GPS went out and I called the office and talked to three people to get directions, and all three got me lost. I talked to a man walking on the side walk and he gave me directions to get me close. The three CD players they had in the place non worked. Most of all was security. When I went in to look around the cabin I found the back door was not locked on the dead bolt or the door knob. The noise from air traffic at 1:00 a.m. that kept shaking the cabin was the worst. The neighbors dogs barking from early morning to early in the evening was so bad.

  : The quick responses to my texts by the cool cabin team were really appreciated. Fully stocked kitchen was a great detail too
  : I was expecting a furnace or fireplace, but the heater was more than sufficient. Perhaps slightly clarify that the property has no fireplace, since there was instructions on "how to dispose of hot ashes" on the listing, but no actual ashes to dispose of.

  : I have only stayed overnight in Big Bear one other time, at the Big Bear Inn. The Big Bear Cool Cabins cabin I stayed in was much better by comparison.
  : My main disappointment came from two non-working heating units. There's an electric "fireplace" that did absolutely nothing. Then there was a portable electric heater which had, apparently, been damaged by a previous occupant. The power cord had been damaged and arced when it was plugged in. The kitchen pots and pans seemed kind of dirty.

  : The kitchen was spacious and clean and equipped with everything needed to cook and clean. The bathroom was big with good water pressure and hot water.
  : The kitchen side by the sink, fridge and stove seemed to be in a downward slant.
