  : I stayed at the Scottish Inn on my way down to the Bay Area, with my dog. Everything was mediocre ok. Then I booked them again on my way back, and they turned me and my dog away saying they NOW don't take pets! One would think they would see that I booked again and call me to let me know. This was a holiday weekend and everything was booked! I tried stopping at 5 places along the way back to pdx and nothing! I had to drive all the way home and got back at 1am. I could have been in a car accident due to lack of sleep and stress. These people should have honored me one night with my very quiet and sweet dog, as they did for me originally. NOT change up on me last minute. So rude and lacking customer service. Using social intelligence and having compassion is something I believe is part of owning a business like a hotel/motel, these folks dont have it! I would NOT recommend staying here - way better places to stay in Ashland that are closer to where all the great stuff is.

  : Exterior walkways and stairs worn and weathered.Shady characters hanging out in parking lot and on stairs smoking MJ late into the night
